Description

NVivo is one of the premier computer-assisted qualitative data analysis software (CAQDAS) platforms on the market. It can be used to analyze textual and audiovisual data sources, including, but not limited to, organizing and coding multiple sources in one central project; assigning attributes to data (e.g., demographics) for comparative purposes; adding interpretations and notes; querying and searching data; visualizing data with text mining; and sharing both data and results.

Checking out NVivo:

  1. Click the “Access Resource” button above.
  2. On the new page, click on the card that says “NVivo.”
  3.  Click on any copy in green.
  4. Add the copy to your cart and then click “Check-out.”
  5. Go through the check-out process.
  6. The library processes requests 12-24 hours before the request check-out date. Requests submitted on weekends will be processed on the next business day.
  7. Once the request is approved, you will receive an email to your Chicago School email address with information on accessing your NVivo license, valid for up to 30 days.
