PubMed Central® (PMC) is a free full-text archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature at the U.S. National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine (NIH/NLM).

PubMed Central is a repository for articles from both subscription and purely open access journals in the health sciences. Some subscription journals will provide the option to publish a single article as open access if the author pays an article processing charge (APC). These articles, as well as many purely open access journals, are indexed and available in PubMed Central free of charge. Articles in PMC are peer-reviewed.

PsyArXiv
A free preprint service for the psychological sciences.

PsyArXiv allows scholars to post documents such as working papers, unpublished work, and articles under review (preprints), making them accessible to other researchers and to the public at no cost. Users can also upload revisions of their posted document and supplemental documents such as appendices. Articles in PsyArXiv may or may not be peer-reviewed.
