The Library's Chat Service is staffed predominantly by the Library's Student Employees during its regular hours.
Our student employees can help answer several questions:
Help with locating a citation
Assist with making an interlibrary loan request
Basic Library Questions (Hours)
Our chat service can't be used for:
In-depth research assistance
Sustained literature searches
24/7 Global Cooperative
Knowing that students sometimes may need help even after the library closes, the Library has invested in a Global Chat Cooperative. The cooperative is made up of libraries that pool their times in order to provide 24/7 coverage to students, faculty, and staff. For us at The Chicago School, it means that students can access assistance with basic help questions when the library is closed.
