Quick Tips

How to Find Scholarly or Peer-Reviewed Articles

Here's a quick way to limit your search to these types of sources:
1) Use OneSearch on the library homepage and choose "Peer Reviewed Articles" in the drop down menu next to "Search"

2)  Next, enter your keywords. Generally try to use between 2-4 keywords. Need help choosing keywords? Use this guide on how to choose keywords to get the best search results!

3) You can also try using the library's databases. All databases have a box you can check to limit to peer-reviewed or scholarly sources. Databases provide more search options than OneSearch.

Find books in the library:

Many, but not all required textbooks are available in the library. Some are online, others may be only available as physical copies. To check if the library has a book, whether in ebook format, or as a print book at your campus, use OneSearch on the library website.

1) In OneSearch, to limit your search to books, use the Books limiter next to "Search"
