The Chicago School of Professional Psychology University Library has put together resources around the current conflict in Ukraine. Disinformation and misinformation are both parts of the Russian offensive: learning more about the conflict and related history will not only help inform the TCSPP community but actively combat attempts to obscure the situation in Ukraine from global attention.
In this guide, you will find history, credible news sources, and advice on critically analyzing news coming out of this conflict, as well as a psychological perspective on Ukraine and refugee mental health. Finally, there is information on how you can help with the Ukrainian refugee crisis.
To help directly, the Washington, DC campus community at TCSPP can donate new and used books to our book drive. All proceeds from this book drive will go to the International Rescue Committee for Ukraine relief. Each book donated is eligible for a $5 reduction in library fines owed, and each monetary contribution to the IRC is eligible to be matched by the library to reduce fines owed. Only fines accumulated during the Spring 2022 semester are eligible for this fine forgiveness.
Books are being collected in the library on the DC South Campus at 901 15th St NW. For fine forgiveness, books must be donated during library open hours. We are accepting new and used books, including fiction, nonfiction, and textbooks.
