Introduction

Borrow Ebooks and Audiobooks with Libby The Chicago School Library has a limited collection of ebook and audiobook titles available in Libby. These titles cannot be found currently through the library Discovery Search. You can search the collection here: https://libbyapp.com/library/tcs

The easiest way to borrow ebooks and audiobooks in Libby is using the Libby app. You can even send and read your borrowed ebooks to your Kindle ereader (U.S. only)! It’s free and easy to get started.

Setting up Libby

After going to the Libby website, or after downloading the app, you'll be asked some questions. If you have not used Libby before, you'll be asked if you want to use your location to find nearby libraries.

Make sure to choose, "I'll search for a library":

 

Next, make sure to use TCS as your library name:

No matter which The Chicago School campus you are located at, select TCS Education System and then you're all set!

 

Lending periods

  • eBooks: 14 days
  • Audiobooks: 14 days

Maximum number of titles that can be checked out at any one time: 3

Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period, so there are no late fees.

 

Formats

Items are available in four formats:

  •     Kindle and EPub for ebooks
  •     MP3 and WMA for audiobooks

Tip: In addition to The Chicago School Library’s OverDrive offerings you can add your local public library card to take advantage of their collection.
